Where You'll Make a Difference

  • Perform microbiological analyses of raw and finished products following established procedures.

  • Verify equipment daily and perform minor maintenance on test equipment as assigned.

  • Ensure all retained samples are properly identified and stored.

  • Prepare reagents, media, and testing supplies as needed.

  • Apply basic aseptic techniques to maintain sample integrity.

  • Assist with special projects supporting quality initiatives.

  • Maintain laboratory housekeeping and complete the master sanitation schedule.

  • Follow all Safety and Food Safety practices during job functions.

  • Contribute to Quality Control and the advancement of IFF within the Quality organization

What Makes You the Right Fit

  • Associate degree or higher in a science-related field OR 5+ years of experience as a lab analyst or lab technician.

  • Experience with LIMS or equivalent laboratory information system.

  • Familiarity with GMP-regulated environments.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to wear required PPE (steel toes, hardhat, hearing protection, protective eyewear).

  • Physically able to lift/move up to 50 lbs., stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, and reach overhead.

  • Comfortable climbing stairs up to 9 levels in high-heat environments (up to 120C).
