Compensation

Salary Range: $48.55 - $75.44 per hour

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

Provides nursing care to critical care patients in the ICU/CCU. Effectively plans and communicates patient and family education. Participates in unit based educational activities. Accurately and timely documentation consistent with practice and hospital policy.

*FULL-TIME NIGHT SHIFT POSITIONS MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR A $5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS. ELIGIBLE FOR A $1,000 EMPLOYEE REFERRAL BONUS *



Qualifications

Required:

    Current CA Registered Nurse License
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
  • Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification (OVCH Only)
  • Six (6) months of recent full-time acute care ICU/CCU experience in an acute care hospital
  • Successful completion of Stroke/Sepsis Education competency within 6 months of hire

Preferred:

  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN)
  • Knowledge of Det Norske Veritas (DNV)
