Job Description Summary

Position Objective:

The Regional Sales Trainer, Climate Control develops and delivers training programs to enhance a sales team's product knowledge and selling skills. This role involves conducting needs assessments, creating curriculum and materials, delivering training through various methods like workshops and on-the job-training, while evaluating program effectiveness through performance metrics and feedback.

Key responsibilities include onboarding new hires, collaborating with leadership, and staying updated on industry trends. Work with sales leaders, product management, and technical support to align training with business goals and technical product information.Lead training sessions, workshops, and coaching for both new and existing sales personnel, using diverse methodologies.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Instruct new and seasoned OSRs to work the Power of Sunbelt connection for SBR strategic sales
  • Instruct and mentor high level relationship management with national level strategic customers, and identify and onboard new sellers
  • Instruct OSRs in high level relationships
  • Maximize new OSRs account onboarding and leverage portals to streamline sales processes
  • Train and instruct OSRs as a Climate Control liaison for all SBR strategic sales teams; Temporary Structures, Facility Maintenance, Amazon, R&R/CRT, Government, National Account Managers, Regional Key Account Managers, Flooring and P&HVAC SCRs
  • Serve as dot connector between strategic sales teams and local CC resources for all PoSB strategic sellers
  • Build relationships to ensure climate control OSR representation is fluid and time managed
  • Track progress and revenue for production within all strategic seller groups
  • Instruct sellers to identify other high potential market segments to add and grow climate control strategic accounts (i.e., Government, R&R, Education, Special Events, Temp Structures, Warehousing and Distribution, Mechanical Contractors, healthcare, food & beverage manufacturing, mining, concrete, Special Events, MEGA projects, etc.)
  • Instruct sellers to meet with largest special event customers to sell climate control value for large events and tours (e.g., concerts, Superbowl, Nascar, F1, World Cup, etc.)
  • Keep detailed sales call reports and measure successes weekly

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Must have five years' experience in:
    • Sizing climate control solution in Temporary Heat, Temporary cooling and Dehumidification
  • Must have five years prior sales experience in a regional area where the customer base is familiar with you
  • Must have the ability to direct, train and mentor new Climate Control OSRs in:
    • Prospecting opportunities
    • Time Management
    • CRM/Salesforce
    • Closing opportunities
Base Pay Range: $33.59 - 46.18

You will become eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days from your start date. Sunbelt offers team members the following paid time off from work, subject to Sunbelt's policies (unless specified in a collective bargaining agreement):
