ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you looking for an opportunity to leverage your passion and interest in finance while further developing your financial business acumen?

SC Johnson has an opportunity for a Senior Analyst - Financial Planning & Analysis(FP&A), to join our North America Supply Chain Finance team to support our Lifestyle Brands (LSB) business. As a Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting budgeting, forecasting and analyses that drive smarter decisions that support LSB's strategy and impact results. You will report to a Manager - FP&A.

You will partner with talented teams including Strategy, Cost, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Sustainability to deliver accurate analysis, forecasting, and reporting. Your focus will include sales freight (SF), inbound freight (IBF), and warehouse expenses (ODE), while also supporting cost-saving initiatives and annual linehaul and ocean bid cycles. You will have the opportunity to influence supply chain operations through partnership with other business units such as distribution and planning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze monthly variances, identify/resolve issues and prepare monthly commentary, scorecards, and reporting for SF, IBF, and ODE. Including monthly updates to Power BI dashboards.

  • Execute annual Budget responsibilities pertaining to management functionals for cross-functional supply chain partners in LSB.

  • Enhance current capabilities and reporting to provide better financial support and visibility to cross-functional partners.

  • Provide financial support for various projects including, but not limited to, Sarbanes-Oxley improvements, internal audit recommendations and various logistics projects.

  • Partner with Logistics and Procurement to support the annual freight contract and Ocean contract rate Requests for Proposal

  • Partner cross-functionally to support sustainability goals

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or relevant business program and 3+ years of directly related experience in finance, financial planning and analysis, or accounting.

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employment.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong Excel proficiency; SAP, BW (Business Warehouse), BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation), Power BI, and Tableau

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Full Time, Monday through Friday core business hours

  • This position will be located at Sam's West campus in the Racine area

  • Remote work available once a week for eligible employees

  • This role is not eligible for relocation
