About the Job

Responsibilities:
Attend team meetings (5%)
Co-develop and plan community-based listening sessions (25%)
Co-facilitate listening sessions (45%)
Co-facilitate Community Research Council meetings (5%)
Support analysis and dissemination of project findings (20%)

Qualifications

Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working directly with families impacted by incarceration in Minnesota
Experience collaborating with community-based organizations and state agencies that serve families impacted by incarceration
Commitment to centering equity in this work and to creating an inclusive, anti-oppressive, and safe work environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to connect with people and establish effective working relationships with team members and community partners
Organized, responsible, and detail-oriented
Takes initiative, asks questions, clarifies directions and tasks as needed
Work independently with support from supervisors and plan, organize, and prioritize workload in an efficient and timely manner

Preferred:
Experience working on efforts related to health equity
Interest and experience in community-engaged research Comfort and proficiency with computer programs such as: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or similar Google Suite programs (e.g., Google Docs).
Proficiency working remotely (e.g., via Zoom, shared Google calendars)
Currently living in Minnesota with reliable transportation

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $50.00 per hour depending on education/qualifications/experience.
