Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. Rank at the time of appointment will be based on the candidate's demonstrated contributions and experience in teaching, clinical, research, and/or service to the field. This is an open rank position and could be categorized as Instructor, Senior Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor based on experience and qualifications as indicated below: Instructor: * 1-3 years of related clinical experience at a rank or equivalent experience. Minimum degree qualifications: MD and/or DO o Applicants must possess a Colorado Medical License, DEA Certificate, Board Certified in Psychiatry, and Board eligible in Child Psychiatry. o Must obtain medical staff privileges within Children's Hospital Colorado. o Must have prior experience in a Child Psychiatric setting, having completed a child/adolescent residency, academic/residency program-related experience highly desirable. o Must be board certified within 3 years Sr. Instructor: * 1-3 years of related clinical experience at a rank or equivalent experience. Minimum degree qualifications: MD and/or DO o Applicants must possess a Colorado Medical License, DEA Certificate, Board Certified in Psychiatry, and Board eligible in Child Psychiatry. o Must obtain medical staff privileges within Children's Hospital Colorado. o Must have prior experience in a Child Psychiatric setting, having completed a child/adolescent residency, academic/residency program-related experience highly desirable. o Must be board certified within 3 years Assistant Professor: * 1-3 years of related clinical experience at a rank or equivalent experience. Minimum degree qualifications: MD and/or DO o Applicants must possess a Colorado Medical License, DEA Certificate, Board Certified in Psychiatry, and Board eligible in Child Psychiatry. o Must obtain medical staff privileges within Children's Hospital Colorado. o Must have prior experience in a Child Psychiatric setting, having completed a child/adolescent residency, academic/residency program-related experience highly desirable. o Must be board certified within 3 years Associate Professor: * 4-7 years of related clinical experience at a rank or equivalent experience. Minimum degree qualifications: MD and/or DO o Applicants must possess a Colorado Medical License, DEA Certificate, Board Certified in Psychiatry, and Board eligible in Child Psychiatry. o Must obtain medical staff privileges within Children's Hospital Colorado. o Must have prior experience in a Child Psychiatric setting, having completed a child/adolescent residency, academic/residency program-related experience highly desirable. o Must be board certified within 3 years Professor: * 7+ years of related clinical experience at a rank or equivalent experience. Minimum degree qualifications: MD and/or DO o Applicants must possess a Colorado Medical License, DEA Certificate, Board Certified in Psychiatry, and Board eligible in Child Psychiatry. o Must obtain medical staff privileges within Children's Hospital Colorado. o Must have prior experience in a Child Psychiatric setting, having completed a child/adolescent residency, academic/residency program-related experience highly desirable. o Must be board certified within 3 years Track: Open Track: To support the growth of our faculty, selected candidates at the Assistant Professor level or higher will be offered the opportunity to choose a track that corresponds to their area of excellence. Preferred Qualifications: * Clinical experience in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry preferred. * Leadership and teaching experience valued.
