As a Security Guard - Telecom Patrol Driver in The Dalles, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment. This is a driving post, requiring you to perform routine patrols and remain visible throughout the site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and help to enforce site entry protocols for staff, visitors, and contractors.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with staff and visitors, providing assistance and information as needed.
• Support emergency preparedness and/or evacuation procedures as required by site protocols.
• Assist with maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence throughout the location to help to deter disruptive behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
