Job Description




As a Security Guard - Telecom Patrol Driver in The Dalles, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment. This is a driving post, requiring you to perform routine patrols and remain visible throughout the site. You'll provide exceptional customer service and communication, embodying Allied Universal's values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity while contributing to a caring and innovative workplace.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
  • Monitor access points and help to enforce site entry protocols for staff, visitors, and contractors.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
  • Communicate professionally with staff and visitors, providing assistance and information as needed.
  • Support emergency preparedness and/or evacuation procedures as required by site protocols.
  • Assist with maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence throughout the location to help to deter disruptive behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
