Ethics Coordinator

The Opportunity:

To achieve an organization's mission, leaders need strong team members who can support the agency in navigating ethics issues. Whether analyzing federal ethics regulations or supporting ethics reviews, our clients need someone who can collaborate across the organization to provide high-quality ethics compliance support.

As part of our team, you'll serve as a strategic technical advisor to the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), helping conceptualize, create, and execute advanced government-funded research and development programs to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone. Work with world-class scientists and engineers to support the development of high-impact solutions to society's most challenging health problems.

You'll serve as an experienced Ethics Coordinator, helping drive sustained and effective ethics compliance within the agency. Your attention to detail, flexibility, communication skills, understanding of our client's mission, and problem-solving will enable the mission's success.

What You'll Work On:

  • Support the agency's ethics review and clearance processes, including for individual financial disclosure and potential conflicts of interest

  • Collaborate with applicable ethics authorities to support the agency's review, consideration, and ethics determinations

  • Utilize existing ethics systems as appropriate to review ethics forms or other submissions

  • Keep track of ethics issues on an ongoing basis, coordinating with appropriate ARPA-H offices and partners to maximize collaboration and transparency into the status of activities

  • Assist agency ethics authorities in responding to employee ethics questions by analyzing applicable ethics laws, regulations, and policies

  • Support the design and development of ethics training materials and standard operating procedures to drive compliance with all applicable federal ethics laws, regulations, and policies

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience counseling or advising federal employees on federal ethics laws, regulations, and policies

  • Experience in the development of ethics training content and associated materials, such as instructor-led or on-demand training courses, informational fact sheets, and checklists

  • Knowledge of federal ethics laws, regulations, and policies, including Government-wide ethics policies issued by the Office of Government Ethics

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience working in a federal government agency ethics office or program as an Ethics Counselor, Designated Agency Ethics Official, or similar role

  • Experience supporting the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) in a similar role

  • Ability to excel at working both independently and with a team

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities

  • Ability to manage multiple short- and long-term projects effectively

  • Possession of excellent organizational and communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
