A respected regional medical center is seeking a Tray Line Cook to support its essential food service operations and ensure every patient receives meals that meet dietary needs with accuracy and care.

Hours & Pay

• Pay: $13.50 per hour
• Schedule: Varied shifts (5:00 AM-1:30 PM or 11:30 AM-8:00 PM), Monday-Friday, with every other weekend required
• Employment Type: Temp-to-hire

Daily Tasks

• Assemble and prepare patient meals using printed meal tickets generated frequently
• Follow strict dietary guidelines, portion control standards, and patient-specific meal requirements
• Work efficiently on the tray line during breakfast, lunch, and dinner service
• Restock food and supply items as needed to maintain a steady workflow
• Maintain cleanliness by taking out trash, sweeping, mopping, and keeping all work areas organized

Requirements

• Reliable and detail-oriented with the ability to maintain a consistent workflow
• Comfortable standing for long periods and handling repetitive tasks
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Previous food service or kitchen experience preferred; healthcare or institutional experience is a plus
• Team-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
