Position Overview

Woolpert is hiring aData Integrations Engineerto join our dynamicCloud Solutions and Interdisciplinary Services (CSIS) team. This position reports to theSoftware Engineer Squad Lead.Thispart-timeroleinvolvesassistingwith data pipeline development, performing data analysis, and supporting integration efforts with customer systems. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and capable of working collaborativelywith the integration and larger organization.

What You Will Do:



  • Assistin gathering and analyzing business data requirements under the guidance of senior engineers.


  • Support the development and maintenance of ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from various sourcesand Cama Systems.


  • Help troubleshoot and document existing customer systems and integration points (e.g., SQL, Oracle, AS/400, Informix).


  • Perform basic code/configuration changes and scripting tasks related to SQL databases and datatransformation, andconfigurationspackages.


  • Write andmaintainsimple scripts inHTML and SQLto support data processing tasks.


  • Conduct research on customer systems to understand business processes and data constraints.


  • Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.


  • Document data processes and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.


  • Follow security best practices and company policies for handling sensitive data.


  • Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project goals.



What You Will Bring:



  • U.S. Citizenship (required).


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, orrelatedfield (or equivalent experience).


  • 3-5years of experience inCAMA systemintegrations, or a related technical role.


  • Foundational knowledge of SQL and familiarity with relational databases.


  • Exposure tocloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and interest in learning cloud-based data tools.


  • Experience inintegration tools and protocols (e.g., ODBC, REST APIs, VPN/RDP).


  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.


  • Good communicationand documentation abilities.


  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction from senior engineers.


  • Proficiencyin data architecture, data quality, and secure data practices.


  • Assistinmaintainingand troubleshootingCAMA system integrationsand workflows under the guidance of senior engineers.


  • Help document operational procedures, deployment steps, andintegrationsconfigurations.


  • Participate in version control practices using Git and contribute to code reviews and pull requests.


  • Assistin setting up alerts and notifications for data pipeline health and error tracking.


  • Contribute to data quality efforts by helping implement validation checks and logging mechanisms.


  • Engage in continuous learning arounddataprinciples, tools, and best practices to grow technicalproficiency.

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
