As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned chemical and petrochemical locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential security-related concerns. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
  • Monitor for unusual activity or situations that may require intervention or reporting, especially in areas related to chemical and petrochemical operations.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site leadership regarding incidents or concerns encountered during patrols.
  • Support access control procedures by observing entry and exit points during patrols, helping to maintain a secure environment for personnel and visitors.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Being at least 21 years of age is required.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
