Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, patients, and staff. Your role is to help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring access, managing badge control, and responding to alarms as needed. You will provide outstanding customer service, utilize computer systems or tablets, and uphold Allied Universal's values of integrity, teamwork, and people-first care in every interaction.

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, staff, and patients at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the facility, verifying identification and managing visitor logs to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond promptly to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies and disturbances.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide assistance as needed.
• Communicate and coordinate with Allied Universal management, facility staff, and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
• Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activities, and/or concerns according to established protocols.
• Assist with the implementation of emergency response procedures as directed by site leadership or Allied Universal supervisors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Vaccines are required for this hospital position.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
