Description

Summit Credit Union is seeking an experienced leader to manage credit risk and distressed assets within our commercial loan portfolio. This role partners with business lending teams to mitigate risk, execute workouts, and ensure portfolio health aligns with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Manage high-risk assets and distressed loans.
  • Develop strategies for credit risk mitigation.
  • Guide stakeholders through workouts and foreclosures.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and exams.
  • Manage OREO properties not handled through receivership.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years in financial services, including commercial lending and credit risk.
  • Expertise in workouts, bankruptcy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills.


Additional Position Details:



  • Physical Demands of Position: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to sit, stand and walk, use hands and fingers. The employee occasionally must reach above and below shoulder level, and lift/push/pull and /or carry up to 10 pounds.


  • Environmental/Working Conditions: Works in a typical administrative setting with climate control and appropriate lighting. Travel to branches requires exposure to outdoor and traffic conditions.
  • Equipment Used: Variety of office equipment (telephone, printer, pc, mobile devices, etc.).
