| Organizational Unit Overview |
The East Carolina University Center for Telepsychiatry and e-Behavioral Health (CTeBH) is the home for the North Carolina Statewide Telepsychiatry Program (NC-STeP), a legislatively mandated and funded program that connects more than 50 hospital emergency departments and health departments across the state of North Carolina to provide psychiatric assessments and consultations to patients linked using telemedicine technologies. The CTeBH strives to increase access to care and is actively engaged in helping our field effectively deal with the lack of access to care that can sometimes force patients to travel long distances to obtain mental health services or forgo such services altogether. |
| Job Duties |
This position is responsible for providing administrative, clerical support to the Center for Telepsychiatry and e-Behavioral Health (CTeBH) staff, faculty and subcontractors; maintaining provider templates and clinical schedules; will assist University Program Specialist and providers with completion and submission of hospital privileging and credentialing applications; will assist University Program Specialist with maintaining credentialing and privileging documentation and records; retrieve/organize records and information; will assist with the preparation of contracts and reports and analyze complex business and operational data and processes, under the direction of the Business Officer and/or University Program Specialist; perform purchase-related tasks; will maintain the Fixed Assets inventory and records; assist with telepsychiatry equipment set-up, connectivity, and trouble-shooting; prepare information, schedule and take minutes for departmental and state-wide meetings; assist the NC-STeP Portal Administrator with reporting and user account maintenance; and assist with facilitating day-to-day program operations for the statewide program. |

High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. |
