Our well known investment banking client is looking to bring on a remote, contract (w2) Content Writer to support their team:

A background check must be completed/cleared prior to starting this assignment.

We're looking for someone with a journalistic or content writing background and who can share work samples to demonstrate their experience writing about financial markets coverage, asset & wealth management.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Your Impact

Our marketing team develops multi-channel marketing and communications to support client retention and engagement. We are seeking a writer to help us bring the best of our firm's research to our customers.

As a writer, you will be responsible for translating the firm's deep well of thought leadership into concise, effective articles, emails, and social posts for our customers and prospects. This means understanding the current macro environment and market trends, and working closely with subject matter expert teams to ensure the adaptation is accurate and effective. This role also includes contributing to the forward looking editorial calendar and consulting on special projects relative to thought leadership.

This individual has the ability to thrive and grow their career in a fast-paced environment where strong communication skills, coordination across multiple stakeholders and client service are essential to maintaining and enhancing our business.

You will also:

Job Summary and Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with creative teams, business leaders and subject matter experts to execute written content that supports the firm's business strategies

* Adhere to existing brand guidelines including tone, voice and research-tested messaging architecture to maintain consistency

* Copy edit and proofread print and digital content to ensure accuracy and clarity

* Translate and version complex financial topics into digestible pieces that appeal to the target market or audience

* Find and cite qualified references for articles, white papers and case studies

* Draft language for video scripts, on-screen narratives, ad copy, social posts, blog articles, client communications, graphic briefs, marketing materials and other content as needed

* Adeptly navigate systems for project management and collaboration according to team processes

* Manage rigorous editorial, subject matter and regulatory review process for content products

Basic Requirements:

* Knowledge and experience with financial markets concepts and the investment industry is essential

* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, free of grammatical errors

* Proven copy-editing skills

* Ability to translate complex topics into easily-understood copy using multiple voices and styles

* Knowledge of and experience with the nuances of multi-channel (print, web, email, social, video, audio) content is a plus, but not required

* Experience in compliance-driven environment is a plus, but not required

* Excellent time management and self-motivation with the ability to handle multiple projects and switch gears based on project prioritization

* Personal commitment to accuracy, attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines

* Bachelor's Degree in Communications or a Business/Finance related field

* Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
