You Are:

An Event Manager with a proven track record of managing large, regional and small events. You have experience around contract negotiation and logistics in the setup, promotion, and tear down of events. You have a strong knowledge around large events, as well as CISO/CIO style small dinners. You will work with the sales and marketing team to manager, provide lead capture, and report on events within the US, as well as collaborate on vents outside of the US.

The Opportunity:



  • Own, develop and execute US events, collaborating with sales, marketing and leadership to drive successful business outcomes
  • Manage event budget spend, as well as optimize this for best ROI
  • Collaborate and support other geographic event management outside US as and when required
  • Manage event sponsorship, logistics, including contracts, procurement and shipment of event support material
  • Own lead capture and uploads from events into CRM, including reporting on cost and return on investment analysis
  • Manage internal communication on participants, speakers, and individual support at events
  • Manage event perimeter advertising to support events i.e. digital signage
  • Own pre and post event campaigns promotion



What you need:



  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or at least 5 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • At least 5 years' experience in B2B trade show, CIO/CISO dinners and event planning
  • Know how to develop, communicate, and execute event plans that deliver high quality experiences and achieve measurable results.
  • Possess the ability to build consensus, drive to deadlines, and manage details around events.
  • Manage event budgets as well as, negotiation of contracts.
  • Strategize as well as research which events bring better ROI and articulate this.
  • Have proven experience in large-scale enterprise event building, execution pre/post promotion and tear-down.
  • Experience around virtual events, through hosting platforms e.g., BrightTalk, and webinars is preferred.
  • Cybersecurity event experience preferred.
  • Experience with Hubspot CRM preferred.
  • Travel to events expected.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.



Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by local law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City, or Washington as set forth below.

Compensation Range: $88,000-132,000

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent childcare, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
