General Manager - Aerospace Manufacturing

Location: Corona, CA

Salary: $85,000-$90,000 annually DOE | Direct Hire

Staffmark is seeking an experienced and dynamic Aerospace Manufacturing General Manager to lead aerospace manufacturing operations. This executive leadership role is ideal for a strategic thinker with deep industry knowledge who can drive operational excellence, profitability, and business growth while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership



  • Develop and execute the company's strategic vision, goals, and initiatives to drive growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate with the management team to establish long-term plans and objectives.
  • Allocate resources effectively to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.


Operations Management



  • Oversee Planning, Sales, Estimating, Purchasing, and coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, and HR to maintain KPI performance.
  • Ensure excellence in manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Maintain compliance with aerospace industry regulations and standards.


Safety & Compliance



  • Promote a safe work environment and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain readiness for regulatory audits and ensure compliance with industry standards, including AS9100 and ITAR.


Leadership & Team Development



  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the management team and employees, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Provide clear communication, guidance, and motivation across all organizational levels.


Business Development



  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers and vendors.
  • Support company growth objectives through business development initiatives.


Additional Duties



  • Perform other duties as assigned to support company objectives.


Required Qualifications

Education & Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in aerospace manufacturing.
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence, profitability, and business growth.


Technical Competencies



  • Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of aerospace regulations and standards (AS9100, ITAR, etc.).
  • Experience with KPI development, performance metrics, and operational reporting.


Leadership Competencies



  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate employees.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
