Requisition Number:R156615 AMBULANCE SUPPORT ASSOCIATE - Roanoke Transport - FT (Open) How You'll Help Transform Healthcare:The Ambulance Support Associate maintains maintenance, cleanliness, and supplies of ambulances and hospital locations as needed. This role is a temporary position within CCPT. Employment in this role is limited to a maximum of 8 months from the start date assigned by the recruiter. The following qualification must be met during the first four months of employment: Successfully complete the position orientation program to include enrollment in a Virginia Office of EMS (OEMS) Emergency Medical Technician course.An employee who becomes certified by OEMS as an EMT within the eight months of employment in this temporary position may seek to continue employment with CCPT by applying for a CCPT EMT or Communications Specialist I position. Successfully completing the requirements of the temporary position, regardless of any related service commitments, is not a guarantee of hire into an EMT or Communications Specialist role. What We Require: Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Experience: none. Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Valid Virginia driver's license and driving record that meets the compliance standard of the Carilion Clinic driver eligibility guidelines required on the date of hire and during employment. 2 years of clean driving history required. Life Support: none. Other Minimum Qualifications: Proficient in computer and keyboard skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Must be able to work efficiently, manage time wisely, and follow policy and procedures with minimal supervision. Must have good interpersonal, communication, and listening skills.
