Emerging Talent- Digital Technology Rotational Program Primary Purpose: The Emerging Talent Programs at Arcwood Environmental are designed to train and develop high potential candidates and provide opportunities to accelerate your career growth and gain direct, hands-on experience. Working alongside managers and leaders, exposure to high level projects, and individualized mentorship provides a unique experience for all participants. The Digital Technology Rotational Program is a 1-year program that explores several functional areas within our IT department- Cybersecurity, Applications, Infrastructure, and Data. Essential Functions & Requirements - Talent Programs:
- Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and consistently maintaining safe practices
- Develop an understanding of how the company works and build relationships with Emerging Talent Program Representatives through regularly scheduled meetings, annual training workshops, and mentor programs.
- Network with professionals from various disciplines across the organization to enhance teamwork, collaboration, communication, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Maintain awareness of all Company policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure compliance.
Essential Functions & Requirements: Digital Technology
- Support and extend existing and new applications by interacting with our business partner users to develop specifications and execute program tasks to make code changes.
- Develop process documentation and assist with training during application and business process changes.
- Assist in overcoming design, development, and/or implementation challenges using new software tools and techniques
- Assist in monitoring and securing the company's network infrastructure.
- Help identify vulnerabilities and threats through security tools and processes.
- Support implementation of security measures and assist with incident response.
- Assist in the configuration of firewalls, antivirus software, and other security tools.
- Assist with vulnerability assessment review and reporting.
- Support Arcwood IT Service Desk with security related incidents or tickets.
- Support the development, implementation, and management of the IT security awareness program.
- Assist in monitoring, evaluating, and responding to end user risky behavior alerts.
- Supporting cybersecurity compliance
- Assist in transformation programs, change management efforts, and M&A activities
- Assist in executing the organization's data strategy by collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data is accessible, accurate, and aligned with business goals.
- Design and deliver critical business reports and dashboards that empower fast, data-driven decision-making and uncover revenue-generating opportunities
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study (required)
- Minimum 3.0 GPA (required)
- High performing recent graduate or expectation to graduate by start date OR qualifying education must have been obtained within the past 2 years of the start date.
Experience:
- Prior relevant internship, co-op, or practical experience (required)
- Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative such as a school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc or exceptional leadership on work projects (required)

- Strong teamwork, networking, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
