Fresh Thyme Market, is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Facilities Manager to be manage facilities within our store operations and equipment. The position will report to the Director of Store Operations and will be responsible for managing all facility and equipment maintenance.

Position offers flexible remote schedule with occasional travel to corporate office and stores as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Manage the maintenance and repair of all our grocery store facilities and equipment, including identifying the scope of work, obtaining bids, scheduling the work, overseeing the work, inspecting the work, and paying for the work.

* Develop and manage a national HVAC preventative maintenance program, and other similar programs for grease interceptors, refrigerant, back flow preventers, and energy consumption.

* Be the point of contact for all repair emergencies and equipment failures in the stores and with store equipment, and manage the completion of all such repairs, including dispatching repair technicians, overseeing completion, and paying for repairs.

* Negotiate and set-up third party contracts for all new grocery stores as needed, including contracts for fire protections systems, alarm systems, landscaping, snow removal, trash, recycling, grease bins, parking lot sweeping and lighting, and other maintenance contracts, including identifying the scope of work, obtaining bids, overseeing the work and paying for the work.

* Conduct 11-month warranty walk-throughs on all new grocery stores (and manage the warranty program, including tracking and scheduling).

* Coordinate all of the above with the Operations, Property Management, Construction and Legal Departments and manage the same through the use of the Company's on-line project management system or other system that tracks equipment inventories, services and other records.

Education, Experience and Skills

* High School Diploma required.

* Must have prior experience in a similar grocery store position or in the construction or property management fields (need to be experienced in handling the maintenance and repair of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC and refrigeration systems).

* Must be proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint) and be able to use the Company's on-line project management system.

* Must be an excellent problem solver, solution provider and possess good decision making skills.

* Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and flexible in a fast-paced and growing work environment.

* Must be able to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage work time effectively.

* Must be able to develop and maintain exceptional working relationships with a wide range of people, including vendors, contractors and operators.

* Must possess excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

* The potential for prolonged standing, walking, squatting and/or bending.

* Occasional high stress when dealing with emergencies/systems/store personnel/contractors

The pay range for this position is listed below. The actual rate offered will meet or surpass the legal wage requirement for the job's location.

$85,500.00 - $132,500.00

This pay range represents the minimum and maximum base pay for the position, which is determined by factors such as market data, the qualifications required, the level of responsibilities associated with the role and other roles at this same level. Specific pay rates will be within this range and based on your experience, qualifications, and skills compared to the internal team of this role.

Compensation for this position also includes incentive bonus opportunities that may vary based on individual and company performance. Specific details will be discussed during the hiring process.
