Education: B.S. degree in Engineering or Material Science. Knowledge of blueprints and airfoil specifications a definite asset. Working knowledge of Laue, ultrasonic wall inspection is a plus. Personal Characteristics: Able to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality/ quantity. Able to work flexible hours with a history of dependability as demonstrated with strong attendance record. Comfortable using a team approach to problem solving. Have strong sense of urgency. Individual must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers and supervisors. Work Experience: One to Three years aerospace or IGT quality experience preferred. Experience which combines both customer contact and technical discipline will also be considered. Principal Area of Responsibility: Design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination.
