From delivering safe drinking water and treating wastewater responsibly to developing sustainable water supplies and protecting lives and property through flood control, your work will directly support public health, environmental sustainability, and infrastructure resilience. In the role of Drinking Water EIT, we'll count on you to:

  • Create detailed designs of water treatment and distribution systems under instruction from the Project Engineer and/or Project Manager.
  • Prepare plans, write specifications, develop analysis and study-level reports, and review construction submittals.
  • Determine appropriate design methods and equipment sizing and selection.
  • Collaborate within a design team.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering or equivalent field
  • Bluebeam software experience

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
  • Engineer In Training (EIT) certificate
  • Interest or experience analyzing and designing water focused systems
  • Experience with production, simulation, and automation such as BIM systems, numerical modeling platforms, and other production tools
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions.
