Short Description

MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper, a partnership between MD Anderson Cancer Center and Cooper University Health Care, is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Radiation Oncologist to join our growing, multidisciplinary cancer program in southern New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based radiation therapy for a diverse adult oncology population
  • Collaborate closely with surgical oncologists, medical oncologists, radiologists, and pathologists in disease-specific multidisciplinary clinics and tumor boards
  • Utilize state-of-the-art technology including Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators, Aria/Eclipse treatment planning, Gamma Knife Icon, HDR brachytherapy, and SBRT/SRS programs
  • Participate in clinical trials through our MD Anderson Cancer Network partnership and NRG Oncology
  • Contribute to resident and medical student education (academic appointment available through Cooper Medical School of Rowan University)
  • Engage in quality improvement, research, and scholarly activity commensurate with experience and interest

Education Requirements

MD or DO with successful completion of an ACGME-accredited radiation oncology residency


Experience Required

Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork


License/ Certification Requirements

Board certified or board eligible (ABR)

Eligible for medical licensure in New Jersey

Hourly Rate Max $414.95
