This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends especially during benefit year transition periods (December 25th - January 10th).

This will be on the job training. The hours during training will be 8:00am to 5:00pm CST, Monday - Friday.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Research and Impact analysis - requires creating and executing queries using SQL/scripting
  • Deliver accurate and timely end to end system defect resolution in RxClaim
  • Perform complex independent and collaborative research on root cause determinations and system defect resolution
  • Solves complex problems and works with IT to review development solutions
  • Perform complex conceptual analyses of system issues
  • RxClaim User subject matter expert with primary focus on Medicare part D

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 4+ years of experience with data/system analysis and/or design responsibilities
  • 4+ years of experience developing and maintaining SQL
  • Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel (formulas, vlookup, pivot tables)
  • Ability to work our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends especially during benefit year transition periods (December 25th - January 10th)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • RxClaim operational experience highly desirable
  • Batch Claim Remediation experience highly desirable
  • Pharmacy Benefits Management industry experience
  • Experience developing system requirements and/or test plans
  • Medicare Part D, Medicaid, HIX, and Medicaid operational knowledge
  • Programming experience - iSeries-AS/400, Cobol, and CL desirable

Telecommuting Requirements:

  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $89,900 - $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
