Overview

This is a full-time, onsite career opportunity based out of our Administrative Services Center location in East Petersburg, PA.

Provide operational mail services, which includes the sorting and distribution of interoffice mail and the accurate classification, fulfillment and distribution of the mail. Maintain mail equipment and monitor supply levels. Arrange and catalog all branch capture items providing descriptions of the items for easy location. Serve as coordinator for central distribution center for courier services deliveries. Must be flexible to cover and rotate shifts if necessary.



Responsibilities

    Operate postage equipment and machinery. Process Certified Mail, Priority Mail and Parcels with US Postal Service required tracking. Log in accordance with Records Management Retention Schedule. Keep equipment operating by following operation instructions and troubleshooting as needed. Make service calls to vendor as applicable. Verify accuracy of affixed postage according to U. S. Post Office standards. Maintain postage equipment, monitor and replenish supply inventory of disposables. Maintain mailroom accounting to charge used postage to the appropriate cost center. Monitor postage account balance and process appropriate General Ledger tickets to replenish postage meter balance. Track and maintain balance in business reply permit account.
  • Sort outgoing and incoming mail and packages into appropriate mail bins and tables for distribution throughout building. Research items not easily identified using electronic tools available to ensure proper delivery without delay. Sort and prepare outgoing and incoming mail and packages for further distribution throughout the corporation. Prepare daily express deliveries to various destinations and ensure proper supplies are stocked. Separate and distribute multiple Post Office Box mail to ensure timely delivery of customer communications to assigned locations, departments and or individuals.
  • Ensure the accurate preparation of up to one hundred bags and packages for secure pickup by courier service. Ensure correct items are delegated to the correct courier scheduled for each day. Ensure verification and receipt of up to one hundred bags and packages delivered by courier service for further distribution throughout corporation. Prepare barcoded shipping labels for each package to be delivered by courier service throughout the corporation. Ensure timeliness of bag preparation to meet daily courier schedules. Notify management of late or inaccurate deliveries. Assist management in tracking and research of courier service deliveries. Make immediate delivery to Lockbox area items upon receipt from courier services throughout the day.
  • Organize batches by posting date. Label batches denoting affiliate and branch. File batches in appropriate trays, transfer trays to storage shelves. Process branch requests for capture item return. Maintain tracking log. In conjunction with Fulton Financial Corporation Facilities, maintain item shredding schedule.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent. (Required)

Certifications

Valid Drivers License. (Required)

Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate's knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location.

The hourly rate for this position is $16.75 - $21.83.
