Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite for our client in Grand Prairie, TX. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Perform a variety of duties in support of end users for Information Technology (IT) hardware and software.
• Basic technical certification, hardware repair, component level knowledge, operation systems (Windows, Unix/Linux, and application knowledge, troubleshooting techniques
• Install and configure network devices (network printers, scanners, plotters, Personal Computers).
• Troubleshoot problems with network printing and scanning devices.
• Perform data termination/ activation in telecommunication closets aka network connect (activation of data drops).
• Assist in the relocation of customer employees on the facility (move Personal Computers and activate data drops in new location).
• Troubleshoot network issues with Personal Computers and Local Area Network (LAN) (duplex mismatches, duplicate Internet Protocols, corrupt firewall software, proxy configuration issues)
• Set up and configure Personal Computer's

Pay: $ 19.35 /hr

Hours: 40 hrs / Week

Length: Temporary (12+ months)

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with deploying assets, troubleshooting, and Personal Computer refreshes
• Minimum 2 years of technical experience consisting of hardware repair
• Minimum 2 years of technical experience consisting of operation systems such as Windows

Preferred Skills:

• Demonstrate excellent customer service
• Not afraid to work in a team environment as well as independently.

Additional Information:

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.

• Possible lifting may be needed up to 50 lbs.
• Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
