What you'll do:

As a Credit Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a full range of activities, which ensure operational effectiveness and accuracy of data collection within Credit systems and processes. This role will provide expertise to lead specific efforts related to credit processes by designing technical solutions to support lending businesses and credit management. You will work with cross-functional teams to gain a deep understanding of the current/future processes. This role will then design an intuitive user-friendly design and manage it throughout the building, testing and delivery.

Your key responsibilities include collaborating with appropriate parties in developing effective process solutions and business requirements. In this role, you must have the ability to think critically, be independently resourceful, practice ownership, and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
  • Responsible for product design, user experience and data availability to improve the overall credit processes
  • Work closely with development teams throughout the Bank to effectively design and integrate processes that span across various systems
  • Demonstrate strong data analysis, business requirement gathering and process/system design knowledge that will increase user adoption
  • Manage priorities from various business lines as well as the consolidated priorities for Credit
  • Responsible for collaborating with teams/managers to develop data driven solution designs, while documenting process improvement needs
  • Summarize, track, train and communicate updates and changes to the end users
  • Assist in the analysis, solutioning and correcting design/solution issues while communicating impact and timing to affected users.
  • Facilitates project planning, develop business/reporting requirements, and conduct application testing to ensure a successful application deployment

What you'll need:

  • 8+ years of related experience in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar field.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • Previous leadership experience required.
  • Advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of commercial credit-related discipline with experience with a variety of lending products and segments.
  • Advanced ability to independently problem solve, adapt to changing priorities, act with a sense of urgency, on-time delivery and support diverse projects.
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
  • Data Science / Data Analytics Certificate, CFA, CPA, CAIA, or CRM Certification preferred.
  • Occasional travel required.
