Utility Equipment Operator *Shift: 2nd, (3pm-11:30pm)* Pay: $23-$24/hr (Based on experience) The company wants to add a second shift machine operator to produce high quality medical and non-medical products while achieving tight tolerances to meet customer specifications. Working together as a team, the machine operator utilizes their knowledge & creativity to problem solve the most effective manufacturing methods. Job Description: Operate various production equipment- Spooler- Slitter- PIC and rewinder machines. Read, analyze & interpret customers' drawings, measurements & tolerances including blueprints & job tickets Produce dimensionally accurate medical & non-medical products Laminate multiple materials & adhesives Set-up & insert rotary dies Adjust speed, tension, & alignment as necessary to ensure quality product Adjust gear ratios & re-registration within the press Performs inspection to ensure product meets stringent quality standards & customer specifications Qualification: High School diploma or equivalent Strong mechanical aptitude & mathematical skills Ability to multi-task with strong problem-solving skills Computer competency Impeccable attention to detail & accuracy with high level of quality consciousness Ability to collaborate with coworkers & customers during problem-solving practices Patience when confronted with production challenges Ability to lift 50# General knowledge of rotary die cutting a plus
