Our mission is to provide high quality English language instruction and support to non-native English speakers for university studies or professional improvement. Approximately, 80-90% of our students continue their studies at the University of Colorado Denver. Our program consists of 5 levels from high-beginning to advanced and students attend classes 20 hours per week during the 8-week term. Completion of Level 5 of our program allows students to satisfy the English Language Proficiency requirement of undergraduate and graduate programs within the university. The ESL Academy Part-time Lecturer position is a non-tenure track, 8-week appointment. The successful candidate will prepare and deliver instruction in the specific skill area based on the ESL Academy's curricular objectives designed to meet the desired learner outcomes. Additionally, Lecturers are expected to complete administrative tasks assigned by the administrative team, attend mandatory faculty/staff meetings (including level meetings), maintain office hours, and participate in program-wide events. This is an at-will appointment and consideration for rehire is based on student enrollment, seniority, and evaluated performance. Faculty Title What you will do:

Compensation and Benefits The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $2,500 per 1 non-credit, 8-week ESL course. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training. The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
