What to Expect
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented 5S Manager to oversee the implementation and maintenance of the 5S methodology within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for creating efficient and well-organized work environments. The 5S Manager will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, promoting a culture of excellence, and ensuring adherence to 5S standards throughout the organization.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and implement detailed 5S strategies, customizing plans for optimal workplace organization and efficiency
  • Lead engaging 5S training sessions across organizational levels to ensure deep comprehension and compliance
  • Conduct regular, thorough 5S audits, identifying areas for enhancement and elevating organizational efficiency
  • Collaborate with managers to establish meticulously designed 5S standards and procedures tailored to unique work areas
  • Drive cross-functional teams to implement sustainable solutions, employing root cause analysis for operational excellence
  • Monitor KPIs related to 5S implementation, tracking productivity, waste reduction, and cost-saving metrics
  • Provide personalized coaching on 5S best practices, champion automation opportunities, and communicate progress to senior management

What You'll Bring
  • 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing or mechanical/engineering environment is preferred and factory knowledge
  • Specific experience in 5S and Safety practices is highly desirable
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles including 5S, Safety, and Training skills is beneficial
  • Expectational verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams)
  • Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the company
  • Ability to perform extensive auditing and excellent organizational skills
