What You'll Do
- Oversee Workplace and Janitorial staff, ensuring they meet site needs, contract terms, and adhere to schedules
- Manage daily Workplace operations by implementing standard procedures, optimizing resources, and maintaining high service standards in a 24/7, multi-shift environment
- Recruit, train, and support staff, ensuring a safe work environment, personal growth, and strategic compensation management
- Partner with key resources, implement vendor management best practices, and oversee vendors, business partners, and contractors
- Organize location operations, review plans, identify resource needs, address concerns, and collaborate with production, engineering, and admin teams to support their objectives while fostering strong customer relationships
- Serve as the subject matter expert, lead complex initiatives, drive process improvements, address technology and process gaps through creative analysis, and manage reporting and budget alignment
What You'll Bring
- 2-3 years experience in Workplace Operations, Facilities Services
- 2-3 years experience as a people manager and proven track of successfully supervising, developing and training staff
- Professional certifications and change management principles
- Experience delivering best in class customer service. Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline- driven environment where priorities change frequently
- Excellent independent decision-making capabilities and a solutions-oriented attitude. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to manage a group of specialists managing several competing priorities. Strong team player with service-oriented attitude and customer focus
- Proficient at using the Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs
- Demonstrated ability to manage overall business initiative or several components of a large, complex project. Ability to engage as required to avoid conflicts with customers based on personality differences and to make suggestions in a manner that is more likely to result in a desired outcome
