RN - PTU/PACU, Santa Monica Surgery Center

Ability to complete a nursing physical assessment * Skill in developing a plan of care including setting goals, monitoring, and documenting process * Ability to implement interventions that are pertinent to goals established in the plan of care * Ability to evaluate the effective of intervention towards the attainment of established goals and to recognize the need to reassess or reset goals parameters. * Ability to delegate tasks in a management style that is consistent with promoting leadership and teamwork * Knowledge base to provide education to patient, families, and other staff regarding clinical and patient care issues.

We're seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated nursing professional with:

• Current California RN licenserequired
• BSN or MSNrequired
• PACU experiencerequired
• BLS, ACLS, PALS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Associationrequired
• ICU/ER experience preferred
• Skill in implementing appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis
• Ability to perform historical, physical and behavioral patient assessments
• Ability to develop and implement and evaluate patient care plan actively involving patients, family, and staff
