Medical Assistant - Cardiology $2,500 Sign On Bonus Full Time Benefit Eligible Shift: Full Time - 40 Hours - Day Shift, Monday-Friday (no weekends or holidays). Daily rotating shifts start time between 745A-845A Location: Providence Park Hospital: Novi-47601 Grand River Avenue Novi MI 48374 *Rotating locations, main locations Farmington Hills and Novi with occasional travel to Ferndale and Dearborn GENERAL SUMMARY Assists with the examination and treatment of patients/participants under the direction of a physician. Responsibilities: Assists with treatments ordered by physician as supervised by physician or registered nurse. Performs select clinical duties.\| Interviews patients/participants, measures vital signs, and records information on patients/participants charts. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients/participants.\| Performs basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing.\| Performs basic materials management functions such as ordering and stocking of supplies. Assists with maintaining a clean and orderly environment. CERTIFICATION/LICENCES REQUIRED BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted. Medical Assistant Certification obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Any issuing authority accepted. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED** High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required Preferred Medical Assistant Program completion.
