Genesis10 is currently seeking an Atlassian Jira and Confluence Cloud Adoption Trainer with our client in the financial industry. This is a 3-month contract position, 70% remote from Minneapolis, MN.
Compensation: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour W2, depending on skill and experience level.

Job Description:
Atlassian Jira/Confluence Cloud trainer will design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training for administrators and end-users migrating from Atlassian Data Center to Cloud. The candidate possesses in-depth expertise in Atlassian tools and in empowering teams through dynamic and engaging learning experiences, particularly in the context of migration. Responsible for creating training materials, conduction workshops, and collaborating with technical teams to ensure smooth transition. Should also have experience with plugins such as Xray Test Management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Configure and manage JIRA and Confluence Cloud at enterprise scale, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and governance.
* Lead user training and onboarding for JIRA and Confluence, driving adoption and effective usage across technical and non-technical teams.
* Provide expert guidance on tool configuration, best practices, and scalable governance models.
* Develop and maintain user-friendly documentation, including structured guides and quick-reference materials for business users, project managers, and administrators.
* Conduct hands-on enablement workshops to build user confidence and promote collaboration.
* Implement and maintain role-based access controls, workflows, permission schemes, and templates to support consistent and secure usage.
* Support new teams in onboarding to JIRA Cloud, addressing setup needs and usage queries.
* Establish and enforce naming conventions, automation rules, and templates to ensure consistency and scalability.
* Collaborate with PMO, Architecture, and IT Security teams to ensure compliance and alignment with enterprise policies.
* Monitor and analyze user feedback, recommending enhancements and automation opportunities to improve efficiency.
* Track and report on KPIs related to tool adoption, performance, and user satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with planning, data mapping, and execution of JIRA Cloud migrations (projects, workflows, custom fields, permissions, dashboards).
* Familiarity with post-migration performance validation and data accuracy checks.
* Ability to partner with Atlassian or vendors for issue resolution and risk mitigation.
