Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to support U.S. Navy programs involving advanced RF systems and electromagnetic propagation. This role requires strong engineering fundamentals, including proficiency in vector mathematics (cross products, vector calculus) and electromagnetic theory. The candidate will work with tools such as MATLAB to assess system behavior, develop technical reports, and support field testing and system integration on naval platforms.

    Modeling, simulating, troubleshooting, and performing analysis of RF signals in maritime and complex operational environments
  • Working in both laboratory and operational environments
  • Collaborating with Navy personnel, government engineers, and cross-functional contractor teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
  • Strong understanding of electromagnetic field theory and RF propagation
  • Proficiency in vector mathematics
  • Proficiency with MATLAB for modeling, simulation, and data analysis
  • Knowledge of antennas and RF system fundamentals
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills


Desired Skills

  • Experience supporting U.S. Navy, DoD programs, or defense-related RF systems
  • Knowledge of antenna placement, interference, and RF behavior on shipboard or maritime platforms
  • Experience with electronic test equipment (VNAs, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators)

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET / SCI ELIGIBILITY



Travel Requirements

  • Must support test events and at-sea operations as required
