As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the food and beverage production environment to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
• Report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance issues encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrol activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to help to deter disruptions and promote a secure environment for employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
