As a Security Officer - Bank Patrols in Glen Allen, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to provide reassurance, and deliver exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or breaches.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activities observed during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control procedures, visitor management, and adherence to site protocols within the financial institution setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
