The Center for Development and Disability (CDD), established in 1990, is New Mexico's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service. These centers, authorized by the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act, build the capacities of states and communities to respond to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

The Program Admin Support, student employee, will perform a variety of administrative functions to support multiple programs within the Prevention Unit at CDD. This position provides administrative support for the Nurse-Family Partnership, Parents as Teachers, and HATCH programs. This assignment is available for a student employee to work up to 20 hours per week during regular business hours Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

The Prevention Unit serves at-risk women and their children from the prenatal stage through kindergarten entry. We provide services through three evidence-based home visiting programs that promote positive health and educational outcomes for women, infants, and children in Bernalillo and Valencia Counties.

We are seeking a student employee to assist with administrative duties, primarily data entry of HIPAA-protected client information, to support efficient program operations and compliance with state and federal requirements.

Duties include:

  • Perform accurate data entry and cross-reference information across two web-based database platforms.
  • Organize and maintain inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment.
  • Provide general administrative support to program staff as needed.

  • Sensitivity and discretion when handling confidential information, with adherence to HIPAA (training provided).
