Technical Professional I - ES for ChampionX Resources Inc. (Sugar Land, TX). Responsible for driving and coordinating proposal responses for ChampionX's clients' major projects. Interface directly with Project Engineers and Procurement stakeholders to discuss the work-scope of active and prospective projects. Responsible for working with the field organization to identify and capture the impact of the company's programs, applications, and/or systems in clear financial terms. Work with the field organization to identify needs and issues to determine effective solutions and document specifications. Responsible for identifying large account opportunities and coordinating Key Account Management (KAMs) processes with Sales teams. Leverage product, service, and market knowledge during customer dialogue. Monitor local and regional competition, market shares, and pricing trends. Work with current customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans to ensure the business and project goals are met. Utilize technically appropriate product selection to maximize profitability when making recommendations to clients. Work on the response and submission of Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Utilize the Create and Maintain Value Model (CMV) throughout sales processes. Coordinate the technical review of "must-keep" and "must-win" accounts with sales and technical teams. Assist in the collection of samples and conduct laboratory analysis associates with troubleshooting, system survey, and product selection. Perform system analysis, interpret data, and provide written problem-solving recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.

Must possess a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering or a closely related field and two (2) years of experience working as an Engineer or a similar role within the oil and gas/chemical production industry. Experience must include: troubleshooting customer's technical issues related to flow assurance, asset integrity, and phase separation in oil and gas production systems; drafting and submitting competitive responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for Upstream Production Chemical Management products and services; understanding and utilizing the Create and Maintain Value Model (CMV) for sales processes; supporting sales campaigns by facilitating product performance evaluation and presenting the organization at industry-wide events; coordinating Key Account Management (KAMs) processes; using the following software/technologies: PIPESIM, PTVsim, OLI Scale Chem software, and project management software.
