Trident Seafoods is the largest vertically integrated seafood harvesting and processing company in North America. Job Summary:

Processes seafood product on one or more assigned production lines by performing the following duties.

Essential Functions:

• Cleans, scrapes, trims and fillets product.
• Opens and removes raw materials from packaging and places on belts.
• Segregates product on conveyor belt or table according to grade, color, and size, and places product in containers or on designated conveyors.
• Discards and culls inferior or defective items and foreign matter.
• Packs product in boxes, barrels, baskets, or crates for storage or shipment.
• Reviews workspace for cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to perform Tier I essential functions at a higher level of productivity and quality.
• Tasks and assignments must be performed in a safe manner at all times.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.

This is a nonexempt position with an hourly rate of$18 to $26.19 per hour.

Special Training/Skills:

• Ability to read a limited number of two-and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
