Voith Hydro is hiring for: Field Service Technician York, PA Summary - Perform installation, fabrication and repair work at field sites. 100% travel. Responsibilities Perform site measurements,disassemblyand installation tasks on Hydro mechanical equipment. Facilitaterigging and lifting of components. Perform on-site welding and fabrication tasks. Inspect and prepare parts for installation. Support material handling and material preservation at site. Ensure safe work practices and perform safety inspections. Qualifications Certification or minimum of3 yearexperienceas millwright, boilermaker,machinistor welder High school diploma or GED. Good communicationand interpersonal skills. Ability to read drawings and technical documentation. Computer literate / Knowledge of Computer programs (Excel, Word, Access,ToolWatch). Experience in weldingand machining will be considered as desired. Crane operator, rigger, signal personqualificationare a plus. OHSA 10 certificationrequiredand OHSA 30 certification preferred. Interestto takeon a leadership role andbecomea supervisor.
