Details

We are looking for a currently enrolled UI student with strong organizational and communication skills to assist the Sr Financial Analyst with accounts payable and basic analytics.

Job Details:

* 10-15 hours per week between 8-5 pm, M-F, at the HSSB building, Coralville, IA.

* The duration of this position is estimated to be one year. Continued employment beyond this period may be offered contingent upon satisfactory performance and operational needs.

* Pay range: $15.50/hr - $18.00/hr

What Success Looks Like:

* Enter Accounts Payable and research problems.

* Verify data by comparing it to source documents

* Create and manage spreadsheets for monthly financial reporting

Job Qualifications:

* In pursuit of BS or MS degree in a technical field (Finance/Business, Accounting, etc.)

* Public Contact/Customer Service experience

* Driver's license and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety Standards

* Demonstrates excellent written/verbal communication

* Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check

Highly Desirable Qualifications:

* Understanding of basic accounting principles.

* Microsoft Office Suite proficiency including superior Microsoft Excel and Microsoft teams experience

* Experience with accounts payable

* Experience with Pivot tables and formatting in Microsoft excel

Desirable Qualifications:

* Minimum 1 year customer service experience

* Being able to work autonomously with limited supervision

* Detail oriented and self-motivated, ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments.

* Able to work in a fast-paced environment successfully multi-tasking priorities.

* Demonstrate problem-solving skills
