Responsibilities

The Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist is responsible for full lifecycle recruiting; recruit, screen and recommend placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external). Partners with hiring managers and HR team to develop effective marketplace recruitment strategies to attract diverse and high caliber candidates. Responsible for interviewing, testing, and referring applicants for a wide variety of positions throughout Grow Financial. Will provide guidance on the selection of the best candidate and the extension of the offer. The TA Specialist will learn all operational functions in the organization and gain familiarity regarding personnel policies and procedures. In addition, the day-to-day will include administrative duties, HR team project work, and representing Talent Acquisition at a variety of Grow events and trainings. Responsible for following federal and state laws regarding employment practices.



Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor of Arts/Science degree from an accredited university is required.
  • At least 2 years' experience in full life-cycle recruiting in high volume environment required.
  • PHR/SHRM-CP certification preferred.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build productive relationships and networks.
  • Strong working knowledge of current federal/state regulations related to employment (i.e. EEOC, ADA, etc.).
  • HRIS experience preferred.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of fifty (50) pounds without assistance.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and type English.
  • Must be able to hear and use a telephone.
  • Use of computer requires repetitive keystrokes.

Work Environment:

  • This role is fully remote, with the option to work from our HQ or retail locations.
  • As part of your role, you will occasionally travel between various Grow locations within the Tampa Bay Area, networking events, job fairs and other related events.
  • Qualified candidates must live in the Tampa Bay area.
