Reports To: Public Sector Contracts Manager

Position Summary: Assists with all public sector reporting as it relates to government and cooperative contracts.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Confirm and process deal sheets and SQs for Public Sector customers not purchasing under a contract.
  • Add/remove authorized dealers from existing contracts.
  • Responsible for managing up to date information on contract websites to maintain contract compliance.
  • Monitor EBUY postings and inquiries from info@teknion.com and distribute Regional Manager, Public Sector Sales.
  • Download Price and Product Guide (PPG) catalog releases to contract files.
  • Maintain valid insurance for all contracts.
  • Responsible for documentation maintained in ASSIT (Assisted Services Shared Information System) as required by account.
  • Work with regional marketing to coordinate various public sector marketing initiatives including marketing memos related to price increases, product additions
  • Add/delete products/finishes for contracts.
  • Assist with GSA e-Buy bids (obtain off web, submit to appropriate dealer and enter quote from dealer into e-Buy system).
    • Assist with other government RFPs as required.
  • Assist public sector purchasers and dealers with miscellaneous inquiries.
  • Update and monitor all required Government registrations.
  • Maintain and update the GSA product exclusion list
  • Handle all required vendor registrations with public sector entities.
  • Maintain public sector information on all Teknion websites.
  • Prompt, reliable, and regular attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Experience, Skill and Educational Requirements:
  • High school diploma or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must be proficient in Excel and Google Suite.
  • Prior contract experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of GSA and other government processes a plus as well as knowledge of the contract office furniture industry.
  • Experience working with legal contracts/documents such as in government contracting, purchasing, or as a paralegal also a plus.
