2nd Shift: 3pm to 11pm Monday through Friday Pay: $24/hour based on experience Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Complete job setup in accordance with production plans and operate equipment to defined specifications for finished products. Perform quality inspections throughout production runs to ensure products meet specifications. Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain product within specified tolerances. Oversee Packers' activities and coordinate with Quality Assurance Technicians as necessary. Document all production activities, including material traceability and usage calculations, to determine finished quantities and line efficiencies. Provide backup support to other positions on the production line as required. Perform all necessary preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and performance. Recommend and assist with process improvements to enhance productivity and quality. Operate machinery at optimal speeds to achieve production efficiency targets. Identify and document equipment or process failures; assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions. Perform other duties as assigned to support overall production operations. Skills & Qualifications: Strong mechanical aptitude required. Strong mechanical aptitude required with the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot. The ability to operate common hand and power tools. Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook. Must be able to read a metric and standard ruler. The ability to communicate effectively. High school math skills. The ability to multi-task. Good organizational skills. The ability to read blue prints a plus.
