Support operations of the Career Services Center. Delivering exceptional customer service to employees, students, and all visitors by creating a pleasant and welcoming experience.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

- Provide front-office support for the Career Center; greeting, welcoming, directing and assisting internal and external customers, including students, alumni, and community members - Perform an array of tasks supporting services provided by the department including scheduling appointments, working with the Hire a Scot platform, and assisting with resume reviews - Assist with updating and maintaining the job postings, announcements, event information, career tips, etc. presented on the Career Center's digital display (PowerPoint presentation) - Assist with event prep, setup, cleanup, etc. - Excellent English communication skills - Position may require some bending, stretching, and pushing or lifting up to 50 lbs. - Ability to sit, walk, and stand up to 4 hours - Ability to use Microsoft Office products - Ability to use office equipment (fax, copier, etc)

Required Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent - Background Check - Completion of New Employee Training - Must be currently enrolled in at least 3 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester - Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above (if first semester student, GPA requirement is waived) - If student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds
