Career Opportunity

We are currently seeking candidates for a Program Financial Analyst. This position will have a primary role in supporting multiple government contract programs. The Program Financial Analyst will work daily with program management offices, internal departments, and the Finance team to resolve financial, contractual, and administrative-related issues. This position offers a hybrid remote work schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Prepares, studies, reports, and analyzes areas such as estimates, budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Prepares cost proposals and reviews contract and modification documentation.
  • Prepares contract budgets and forecasts.
  • Reviews revenue and incurred costs by project in comparison to prepared budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyzes financial information to determine present and future financial performance.
  • Develops staffing plans and annual projections.
  • Tracks and analyzes program/project status and schedules.
  • Prepares and submits project billing(s).
  • Participates in meetings and supports client(s) with financial requests.
  • Validate subcontractor invoices, process for payment, and analyze monthly status reports.
  • Support internal and customer program reviews.
  • Assist with the development of standardized processes, tools, and reports.
  • Reconcile funding between CLINs/SLINs and approve modification execution.
  • Anticipate risks and suggest proactive solutions.
  • Experience working with various aspects of government contracts (CLIN/SLIN).
  • Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Education, Knowledge, Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree desired, preferably in one of the following disciplines: Accounting, Finance, Management, Mathematics, or Business Administration
  • Five years of experience with program and project financial management, must have prior experience supporting government contracts as a contractor.
  • Exceptional skills with Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas.
  • Knowledge of Business Central a plus.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high-performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Independent, forward, and analytical thinker who proposes solutions to leadership and/or the finance team.
  • Ability to flex between multiple work tasks.
  • The ability to work independently and in a team is essential.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance is highly desired; however, candidates eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance will be considered. The selected candidate will receive a contingent offer if they do not hold an active clearance. A start date will be established once an interim Secret clearance is granted.
  • Must maintain the capability to communicate with their supervisor or manager when not in the office.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Reaching, handling, and using equipment, keyboards, and mobile devices.
  • Lifting boxes (files and supplies) up to 20 lbs.
