The Vice President of Quality provides overall direction to the development, implementation, and execution of Quality Assurance policies, processes, procedures, and programs designed to meet or exceed regulatory and customer requirements for GATX North America. Drives quality culture with a loud voice such that every employee understands and embraces their role in achieving world-class quality. Works in cooperation with executive management on strategy, managing risk, and achieving compliance with regulatory requirements (AAR, DOT, and Transport Canada). Responsibilities Direct and manage the corporate quality function for Rail North America
Drive quality culture and strategy
Direct quality assurance activities for the owned maintenance facilities
Implement the Quality Management System (QMS)
Develop and maintain quality training program
Administer and oversee a supplier quality function

Posting Duration This posting will remain open until the role is filled. As of the post date, the salary range for this position is: Min USD $240,000.00/Yr. Max USD $265,000.00/Yr. This role may be eligible to participate in the Company's short-term incentive plan and long-term incentive plan, the details of which will be provided to the applicant upon hire. This range is a reasonable estimate and takes into account several factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to, geographic location, skill set, experience, education, training, internal equity, and other business needs. | |||||||
