As a Field Sales Manager - Optical & Transport based remotely anywhere in the U.S, we are seeking a quota-carrying sales professional to drive sales of Optical & Transport Test Solutions across service providers, enterprise data centers, utilities, fiber contractors, and channel partners. This is a remote role requiring strong technical sales expertise and a proven track record in telecom and data center environments.

Key Responsibilities include:



  • New Business Development: Hunt and close net-new accounts for M3J HH test equipment.
  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct demos and proof-of-concept (POC) sessions.
  • Channel Engagement: Drive opportunities through channel partners including manufacturer reps, distribution and rental firms.
  • Sales Forecasting and Opportunity/Contact information: Maintain accurate date including forecasts, activity, opportunity status and contacts in Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Competitive Positioning: Strategically position against competitors (EXFO, VIAVI, VeEX).
  • This position will be reporting to a National Sales Manager based in Pennsylvania.


Requirements:



  • 3 - 5+ years in test & measurement, telecom, or data center sales
  • Fiber/OTDR and Ethernet/transport (Layers 1-4) knowledge
  • Demo competency, disciplined SFDC usage, and proven quota achievement
  • Must be willing to travel up to 75%
  • Familiarity with OTDR and Ethernet/transport test solutions
  • Experience selling into service providers, private/enterprise data centers, utilities, and fiber contractors

The annual base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $125,000. Competitive base salary plus commission (OTE). Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
