The Director, AI Governance is a senior leadership role responsible for establishing, leading, and maturing the enterprise's Responsible Use of AI (RUAI) program and AI governance platforms to ensure that all AI initiatives are aligned with ethical principles, regulatory requirements, and organizational risk tolerance. As part of the Enterprise Data & AI Governance Program, this role provides vision, strategy, and operational oversight for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of AI governance frameworks, policies, and controls. The Director will partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Information Technology, Data Science, and business units to ensure AI systems are designed, deployed, monitored, and retired in a manner that prioritizes fairness, transparency, accountability, privacy, and security. The Director will lead enterprise adoption of AI governance tools and platforms to facilitate risk assessment, model documentation, bias detection, explainability (XAI), and compliance monitoring, while building organizational capacity through AI ethics training and change management programs.
